It's been a nice little blogging break I've had. And now is the task of deciding whether or not to try to catch up with all that's happened since my last post, or just begin where I am. For now... I am here, living my days. Walking around empty boxes that are waiting to be packed, as my family plans a move to Kanab, Utah in a couple weeks.
The photo is from September. A moment in Oregon. Riding my cruiser bike on this Newport coast in the fog. I will never forget the feeling I had.

oh my goodness! I know how much you LOVE Moab! To be honest I really do like Kanab. It's a real cute place. Whenever we drive to Utah, it's the first place that really feels like Utah. So how come you are having to move? Have you found a place there yet?
Corey is a full-time Grand Canyon river guide. Too long of a commute for him and not enough time with us because of it. We will be right by the river company's wherehouse..where they get ready for their trips. We have a place waiting! It will be sad to leave Moab. But I like change, and this will definitely be a good one. Hi Jo!
well I think that is WONDERFUL! You can't lose if Corey gets to be home with the family more. Change can be fun and exciting. I look forward to seeing pictures of your new home. What about your garden and your chickens? I suppose you will be starting over on all that too. I admire the way you live your life SO MUCH!
Thanks Jolene. We will have a new garden and we will take the chickens....and the 2 dogs, and the cat, and Hopsy the rabbit, and the 2 corn snakes, AND Nanko the chuckwalla lizard! Phashew.
Hey Jenny you will be greatly missed here. I hope Moab will always be a great memory for you. I wish you good luck and lots of fun hiking and walking spots in Kanab. I am also so glad you will be together as a family more. I'm sure its been hard being apart so much. I'll keep track through Facebook, and your blog. Good luck. Gail
Thank you so much Gail!
