it took to blossom."

She With the Strong Will

Oh... my precious, precious girl.
She tests my patience each and every day with her strong will and spirit.  At times Sometimes  Most of the time, I don't know how to handle her intensity.  She can be intense.  Really.  She is so different compared to my lackadaisical ways.  I try to breathe through the tough moments with her only to feel my breathing become rasping and labored.   And by labored I mean "hooo hoooo heee heeee" as in "when in labor".
But I love her spirit.  I do!!!  I do. I do.
I just really want to learn to remember that I love it.
Steady Mom wrote a post I needed to read this morning, and also this one (by a contributor on her blog) struck a great cord with me.
So today I vow to focus on all the glory that is my polar-opposite.. my Cedar girl.
May she change the world!
...and did I mention?  Tomorrow she turns 4!  (one year closer to being 16..i'm sure she's happy about that)

So happy to have a chance to "visit" with you today by stopping by here. I remember reading this post too---about parenting your opposite, and I've reread it often. I often think my opposite, Sean, has so much to teach me!
Miss you---hope we get to see your smiling face in Moab soon!
