A Note to Spring

"Well, hello Spring!"
'Hi there.'
"I love you so much!"
'And I love you too tra la la la la.'

I look forward to this time of year.  The grass is finally greening up, the birds are chirping their heads off, the ants are out.  The trees are still without leaves, but it's the promise that soon there will be.   The days are in the upper 50's and lower 60's.  The sun is welcome and I soak as much of it onto my skin as I  can while I  watch Cedar run around the yard.

This time of year I try to refresh my soul by keeping an open spirit...open to new possibilities and joys.  It's hard sometimes (with the demands of a toddler and homeschooling...just parenting and keeping it together in general) to see the bigger/brighter picture.  Spring helps.  It reminds me that if I quit over-analyzing everything and stop to just notice, the world...my home, is in perfect order.  Kind of.  (or is headed there.)
I am learning.......
and learning.....
and learning.
