it took to blossom."

Attitude of Gratitude

Today I plan on doing some reading, some watching of motivational and encouraging vidoes (Louise Hay), cleaning the house (which includes a lot), supervising the boys as they clean the side yard, reading to Cedar, taking a shower eventually, and overall...being in a cheery mood.
I hope to sing today as well.

Earlier this month, I was in quite a negative funk...feeling bad about myself, beating myself up for every little thing etc.  But that changed earlier this week.  I started waking up every morning and writing in my journal 26 things that I am grateful for.   It's made all the difference.  I use to do this all the time but somehow got lost in my own self-doubt. (which affects EVERYthing)  I feel happier.  And realize every day is a new day to begin anew.

Hopefully I can continue on this road and path of goodness for myself.  (....just a clue into what I was caught in, a friend said to me oneday:  "You are so hard on yourself it actually makes me sick." )  Wow.  That was a turning point I think.  Who wants to be around someone who is constantly talking or worried about what they do wrong!?  Not that I do it or did it constantly. (but wait...maybe I do.  Huh.)
Cha-ching!
Lightbulb.
Change the way you think and change your life!
(I recommend books by Louise Hay, Cheryl Richardson, Marianne Williamson, Wayne Dyer, and Joan Borysenko.  I also recommend a book called The Noticer by Andy Andrews.  It is a great little reminder about perspective.)

Have a wonderful Saturday everybody!
