I realize I oughtn't be on the computer at 3:10AM (crap!), but that's just the way this day is starting I guess. I woke up and could not get back to sleep, so here I am. I can't even remember my strange dream to share with you. Sorry. It was good too...probably.I found this picture I took last week of our (I mean Corey's) garden. It's huge and I can't even find the vegetables because the leaves are so dang massive...and poky. Why are they so poky?
Anyway... Corey lohuhuves his garden. When he gets home from a couple days or week/s on the river, checking our edible foliage is the first thing he does. (besides hug everybody of course ...though I think while he's hugging me he's trying to look over my shoulder so he can see his garden) Then after he's been home an hour or more, I'll say "where's dad?" I'll look out the back kitchen door and there he'll be..sitting in a chair on the patio staring at the garden. Just sitting there pondering it seems. "What're you doin hon?" says I. Replies him: "Oh. just lookin at my garden. You can actually watch it grow!"
Okay. Have I told you?! My husband is the cutest darn thing that ever there was!!!!! Oh my. There's nothing sexier than a man creating and cultivating and admiring, then sitting there that way and talking.. then smiling. oh...
....um..my mind just went somewhere else ;)
*cough* Uh hum...
So anyways, we have plenty of things out there that we're, I mean he's growing.
The list is as follows (sorry, I don't know the specific names of the breeds):
1 Large tomato, 1 Largeree-er tomato, 2 Huge-o cherry tomato kinds, 1 very big-leaved crookneck squash (yellow), 2 overwhelmingly monstrous zucchini plants (I'll have to take a pic of the weird zucchini which we plucked the other day), 2 banana peppers, 1 jalepeno pepper, 1 anaheim pepper, 1 basil (ooooh it smells so good, and we like to chew these sporadically throughout the day cause it makes yummy breath), 1 parsley, 1 italian parsley, a cilantro, 1 or maybe 2 cucumber...annnnnd some chives! That's it (i think). phashew.
Oh!
And this little guy:

Happy Saturday all! It's Saturday now. Geesh! What am I doin?!
I think we'll go swimmin today. (5th time this week at the local germ pool! woohoo!)
