Blue in Spring

This reminds me. I need to go get some flowers to plant in some pots around the house. Out front. Out back around our little patio and garden area. I have an image in my head of going to the nursery with a wide-brimmed hat on, hand in hand with my darling daughter. She will help me pick out pansies and peonies and other traily, wispy things..yellow, purple, blue, pink, red. Am I missing a color? Oh yes..orange and white. We will sing and work on filling the pots with potting soil and scooping out little holes to place the precious flowers. There will be no whining I'm sure. (on either of our parts) Perhaps that is what is in store for us girls this week.

I've always loved the color blue on her.
