I have been thinking lately about expanding my world. (see how I've limited myself to the left side pocket?) I want to see more. Travel..you know? It would be fun. Even just to go to like Illinois or something. The farthest place I have ever traveled to is Idaho. I know. I know. I am old too. I mean for being an older person, past 30 and all (and closer to 40 as of next week), I haven't been very many places. This is a goal. It is my goalie. And he WILL catch my ball. So concretely thinking...I told my huz band that I want to go somewhere next year with him..next Spring. Somewhere far away (like the Caribbean or Hawaii) with just his hunky self and me. Us two. Far away. For a week! Is it possible? I believe it is. And since I've let it "out there" into the Universe (I've placed my order), I'm sure it will transpire. Remind me next February in case I get sidetracked. (or lifetracked) It's necessary. I'm not going to live my life only seeing a teeny corner of this big blue round thing. (and AND...I didn't even go to college! So that of itself is a reason to expand my horizons)
(soo then, ..in sticking with the theme of this post, I have stre-e-etched my blog! Wee Howdy!)
(and now it's un-stretched. Back to the original. :))
p.s.
what book should I read next?

Good for you Jenny!! I love that kind of thinking. I have been listening to Jim Rohn lately. He has some great books. He is a motivational speaker and life coach. He is my favorite speaker by far. I have been listening to his CD's. I need to choose a place to go too. Well next I am going to Charlotte, NC for a business seminar. Donald Trump is going to be the guest speaker!! I am hyped
I've not heard of Jim Rohn. I shall check him out!
i too want to go somewhere w/just the cute hubby. i have all the intentions, but it never ends up happening! i think because i put other things first and always feel like the money should be used elsewhere you know? its a vicious (sp) cycle!! :)
