How Our Evenings End and Our Days Begin

Boys at different intervals:
Goodnight Mom. Goodnight Dad.

now the boys are brushing their teeth. Oh! They're back again!:
Goodnight. Love you mom.
Love you.
Love you dad.
Love you, bud
as they are walking into their rooms down the hall:
Goodnight! Love you!
Good NIGHT! LOVE you!
now we (the mom and dad) are headed into our rooms to watch tv for the night. Boys are tucked in .. 15 minutes after our goodnights/love you's...
Goodnight mom. Goodnight dad. I love you!
Good night mom. Love you. Goodnight dad. Love you.
(is it okay to grit your teeth while you are saying this?....) GOOD NIGHT! I LOVE YOU! WE LOVE YOU! GOOD NIIIGHT!!

backpacks arranged. oh. get a drink. feed dogs. they're back!

I guess we are lucky. But geesh!!!
