A Marvy Cheatin Day

Today is Thursday and oh my gosh...I love it. I think I love it because it's cloudy... a cheatin day. (A cheatin day is when A: it's cloudy. And B: the gray yumminess accents the world to make it appear all the more glorious and beautiful. I adopted this phrase from my mother who says it because A: she lives in the hot desert where clouds are welcome and because B: she says cute things like that)

I believe I love this day also because the temperature is going to reach perhaps a whopping 47 degrees! Tomorrow it may get up to 49!!!! Holy flip flops!!! But the sun will be hidden so maybe the warmth will elude me. I don't know yet.

Hey! You know why else this day is marvy? (another "mother" phrase) Because the mailman just delivered! I saw him just now. I'm goin on out to pick it up soon after these brief messages. I love the mail. I do. Even when it's bills. Well, maybe not so much. But I love the idea of items sent right to my doorstep. It's amazing. And UPS. Oh. I can't even express the adoration.

The only thing I'm upset about is the fact that I can't find my camera!!! I feel like my arm has been severed. I have some fascinating photos to share of our family outing where the boys climbed and I sat and smiled. They're cute.

Welp! That's all folks. Here I go to bask in the moments that will fill up my hours on this Thursday January the 22nd.

I have decided that this day cannot be labeled "a cheatin day". Why? Because it's cold! It's only cheatin if the day is warm. And even though 47 deg. is warm WITH sun..tis not warm without sun. I forgot that part. I hope to have a few cheatin days this summer when the sun has been making my armpits sweat for days on end..then and only then can a gray, cloud-covered mornin make me swoon. But today... Sorry to jump the gun. Today it was a hazy/cold day. No cheatin here. Nope. The cheat is reserved. It has a reservation for April.
