as I'm pulling the cushion covers off our couch to wash......

Me: Ew. We need a new couch. We've had this one since me and dad got married. Almost 14 years.
Luke: Yah, but it's been alive longer than that! Before you got it!
Me: You're right. It's old.
Luke: Yes. It's sooo old.
Luke: But don't take it to the junkyard. It's a perfectly good couch.
