Okay. Not that I love and adore Tom or even lo him.. or ad him. He's alright. But anyway, my point is this: Ever since Corey and I decided to move to Moab (the outdoorsy mecca of the United States), I had a feeling that Tom Cruise would come here and I would meet him. I'm not even a huge fan of his, you know..in all that hyperventillating way that fans are. I just had this feeling inside that he would be here oneday mountain biking or climbing or something else muscle-bound-like and that I would say "Oh! Hey Tom." I even had a feeling I'd meet Katie.
Now..I've thought about my gut often. You know..when I'm hungry. No...No, I mean I take into consideration my gut feelings all the time. They must be warranted. Things happen to me. I'm in tune. Like the time I knew I should buy the Jelly Belly gourmet jelly beans and not the generic. I trusted myself and knew.
Anyway, I'm babbling. What got me to this "aha" moment was that Tom is going to be on Oprah today... And I really didn't realize he was so close in my vicinity. He'll be here oneday. I'm tellin ya. And after it happens and I blog about it, you'll say "Boy..that Jenny. She's a knower." I'll see him in the City Market or bump into him on Main. I'll be all nonchalant when it happens too because I'm ready for it and also because I'm cool like that. And here's to hoping that when he visits Moab he will bring along Matthew McConaughey, Patrick Dempsey, Hugh Jackman, and Oprah. If he comes with them, I might not be calm and collected..but we'll see. I'll let you know.

Happy Friday!

I had NO ideas Tom Cruise lived in Tellyride?? He's actually been to Moab when he filmed the rock climbing scene in Mission Impossible. Of course, that was before you or I called this lovely place home. I'll cross my fingers for you that he'll make another appearance and grace either the streets of Main, or our "quaint" little City Market. As for the rest...what would it take to get that kind of star power in Moab??? Hmmm...food for thought....
Oprah lives in Telluride too....well, has a house there... so they just might make it to Moab together! ;)
