It was just a bad bad idea. Do not blend veggies, then attempt to drink them. No good. Nope.
Moral of the story: A blender is NOT a juicer.
And I discovered that it is just not fun to chew my beverages. Bleck!
In the meantime, Clancey turned 12 yesterday. He got a BB gun (Corey's idea) and we ate hot fudge sundaes (homemade). Tonight is Movie Night at our house with 8 of Clancey's good buddie's. I'm sure there'll be a lot of burping. (oh..wait. Clancey can't burp unless he tries very very hard to, and then it's a real little one. How can this be?? Him being my son and all??)
a little sidenote:
As the boys in my family were studying the gun..they were swinging it all over which way and that just makes me nervous. I don't care if it's just a BB kind. Yikes. I covered my head 2-3 times and said "Ahhh!"

Thanks again for letting us come up! We had a great time. And your posts crack me up. Love the blender story. Sounds like something I would do. Just a word of caution... Sometimes the juice doesn't taste so good even from a juicer. haha. Have fun!
