He Be Hungry

The things Lucas has eaten since he's been home from school (for 1 whole hour) are...as follows:

1. Enchiladas and rice (leftovers from last night)
2. 2 large helpings of vanilla yogurt
3. 1 bowl of Cheerios
4. Tostada chips with a plentiful blop or two of salsa
5. Cup full of milk (this is in addition to his cereal milk)

We must also note that he has used 4 spoons in the process, 1 cup, and 4 bowls. All of these items are sporatically placed throughout different spaces on the countertop and table. Oh yah..and the milk was left out, the chips open and left on the counter next to a dirty sour cream spoon, salsa out (with lid off), yogurt..yep..still on the counter (with lid off), and various splats of gooey food particles scattered about. Holy cow!! What am I raising??? The ocean?

Oh..pee es: remember that day when I was talking about getting out with the kids? Well, we got out all right. For 3 whole hours and had a great time! I have the proof...in 80 dang pictures! So when I feel like picking and choosing, I'll blog about it. K then.

I can really relate to that, and no matter how many times I ask/tell/beg/plead/yell (at) my kids to pick up, quit using so much utensil, it is like dust in the wind. Nothing happens. Glad we are not the only ones.
