it took to blossom."

Easter Art and Lilac Tree Bird

This cute, roundish bird hopped along our Lilac Tree. I took the picture through the window and window screen. Too bad you can't see the wonderful green-ness of the Lilac blooms bout ready to POP! I love chubby little birds.
And this is what the boys' and I did on Easter day. They got watercolor paints in their baskets along with new tablets of sketching paper. Clancey did the Sunflower in Red Vase and Apple with Wine Glass. Lucas did the Aloe Vera Plant and Go Dog Go. I did Spring Flowers. (using mixed media of construction paper, markers and paints) It was fun. Though I did my art alone..as the boys' took Corey out to a pond out yonders behind our house to go a-fishin. I sat alone to be inspired. I think my children are artist's! Wonderful work on that early March Easter day...if I do say so meeself.
